Adam started their career in the nonprofit sector as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer, supporting fundraising, event management, and grant-writing. Adam quickly saw how important data was in the nonprofit world for fundraising, markerting, and measuring impact. 

Adam has been a Salesforce Administrator for a 501c3 nonprofit, a grantmaking foundation, and since becoming a Salesforce consultant in 2017 Adam has worked with dozens of nonprofit organizations of all shapes and sizes. 

What compelled Adam to pursue this career was noticing how even small technical changes can make big differences for teams. In order to solve problems, consultants and admins need to have both technical proficiency and the ability to listen well ... and not be afraid to ask questions -- I guess that's three things!

The ultimate goal: Better Salesforce systems mean that nonprofit team members are able to spend less time on the computer and more time serving their constituents and pursuing their mission.
